What You'll Do
- Develop and implement software solutions using Java, C++, and scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
- Deploy product updates and build CI/CD pipelines to enhance team productivity.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements development, modeling, design, application development, unit testing, integration, and formal system testing.
- Support software development for multi-domain/multi-platform scenarios, applying software engineering best practices.
- Work within a Kubernetes cluster environment to manage and deploy applications efficiently.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with no experience for Software Engineer roles.
- For Principal Software Engineer roles, a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience, or a Master’s with 3 years, or a PhD with 1 year of experience is required.
- Demonstrable experience with Java or C++, and familiarity with micro-services and event-driven architecture.
- Proficient in networking concepts and development of AI/ML algorithms.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Nice to Have
- Experience with data schemas such as OpenAPI or AsyncAPI.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development tools like Git, CMake, and Visual Studio Code.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
