About the Role

CVP is seeking a talented Mid-Level Quantitative Data Analyst to join our remote Health Research and Technology team. In this role, you will apply quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze behavioral health data, identify patterns, and present your findings effectively. As a Quantitative Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in evaluating the Health Resources and Services Administration's Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP) and contribute to impactful health research.

What You'll Do

  • Extract, clean, and analyze data from various sources to evaluate health programs.
  • Conduct sophisticated analyses using advanced statistical techniques, ensuring methodologically rigorous findings.
  • Oversee and mentor junior analysts, guiding them in analytical approaches and quality reviews.
  • Engage directly with federal government clients, presenting analytical findings and supporting project communications.
  • Utilize statistical software packages such as Python, R, and SAS for data analysis and visualization.
  • Summarize analytical findings into detailed reports, data briefs, and factsheets.
  • Contribute to the development of research proposals and grant writing.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree with at least 5 years of experience, or PhD with at least 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in statistical software packages (Python, R, SAS) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience with advanced analytical techniques such as sample weighting and complex survey analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate findings to diverse audiences.
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior analysts is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with survey programming tools (e.g., Alchemer, SurveyMonkey).
  • Familiarity with behavioral health datasets and opioid-related research.
  • Experience in proposal and grant writing.
