Level 2 Engineer - Cloud Technologies and Automation (Remote)

About the Role

Diya is seeking a passionate Level 2 Engineer specializing in Cloud Technologies and Automation to join our dynamic team. This remote position offers the opportunity to work on international projects while contributing to the success of small and medium businesses worldwide. As a Level 2 Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, ensuring high availability and performance for our clients.

What You'll Do

• Set up and maintain services primarily within Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
• Proactively ensure high levels of systems availability and performance for our clients.
• Write and maintain custom PowerShell scripts to increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedural guides, and operational reports.
• Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot complex issues in a Windows environment using event logs and diagnostic tools.

Requirements

• Proven experience administering M365 (Admin Center, Exchange, Azure AD/Entra ID, Intune, Licensing) and Windows Server.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPO), Domain Name System (DNS), and networking basics.
• Solid proficiency in PowerShell for task automation.
• Minimum Intermediate level of English (written and spoken) for effective professional communication.
• Higher education in Information Technology or a related field.

Nice to Have

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, M365 Certified).
• Experience with API services.
• Basic knowledge of Python or .NET.
