Principal Program Manager - Transformation Enablement (Remote)
About the Role
HP is seeking a Principal Program Manager for Transformation Enablement to lead a critical global transformation program. This is a unique opportunity for a Principal Program Manager to drive the end-to-end strategy and delivery of procurement processes, ensuring financial compliance and cost visibility across Managed Services. As a Principal Program Manager, you will operate in a high-visibility environment, taking ownership of the WBS Phase 2 project and leading cross-functional teams to achieve successful outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Own the overall strategy, scope, schedule, and delivery outcomes for WBS Phase 2 related to procurement.
- Design and lead future-state procurement processes integrating with systems like SAP S/4HANA and Ariba.
- Ensure alignment between operational usage data and financial cost flows into WBS structures.
- Drive alignment across Finance, IT, Procurement, and Managed Services Operations.
- Ensure compliance with financial, audit, and procurement expectations.
- Manage program planning, dependencies, and delivery oversight for procurement enablement.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, synthesizing complex topics into executive-ready narratives.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, ensuring successful program execution.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in program management, preferably in service business management or related fields.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and financial compliance.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and other procurement tools.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs with financial accountability.
- Exceptional executive-level communication and judgment skills.
- Ability to navigate competing priorities and drive alignment across organizations.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and making decisions with incomplete information.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Certifications in project management or related fields.
- Knowledge of business development and customer relationship management.
