Principal Consultant - AI Technology (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Consultant - AI Technology to join the Bank of Canada in a remote capacity. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of AI at the Bank, as we embrace innovative technologies to enhance decision-making and service delivery. You will lead cross-functional teams to design and implement enterprise AI solutions that are scalable and resilient.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design and evolution of the Bank’s AI ecosystem using Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft Fabric.
• Establish the roadmap for M365 Copilot, empowering teams to create secure custom agents.
• Integrate AI solutions with core enterprise platforms like SAP and ServiceNow to automate complex processes.
• Implement Generative AI architectures to ensure secure and effective AI agent deployment.
• Communicate AI insights and risks to stakeholders, demonstrating the value of the "Data + AI" stack.
• Guide junior engineers and data scientists in MLOps and LMOps, fostering their professional growth.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in technology consulting or enterprise architecture.
• Strong technical leadership with expertise in enterprise AI platforms and agentic systems.
• Proven experience in integrating AI solutions with enterprise systems and data environments.
• Hands-on experience designing AI architectures with lifecycle governance.
• Excellent communication skills, able to demystify complex AI concepts for stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Responsible AI Dashboards and AI safety guardrails.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate.
