Principal AI Architect - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We’re hiring a Principal AI Architect to lead the design and delivery of agentic AI systems in financial services. This Principal AI Architect remote position offers the chance to shape production-ready LLM-powered AI architectures, working closely with engineering teams and senior stakeholders. As a fully remote role based in the UK, you will have the flexibility to work from home while occasionally meeting clients to discuss project progress and requirements.

What You'll Do

• Deliver scalable AI solutions, including LLM integration, APIs, and agentic modules.
• Architect secure, cloud-based AI systems (AWS/GCP preferred) to meet regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize AI/ML pipelines and deployment processes.
• Translate complex AI architectures for clients and business leaders, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
• Lead the development of innovative AI strategies that align with business goals and enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering agentic AI solutions in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG pipelines, LangChain/LlamaIndex.
• Strong cloud experience (AWS/GCP) in regulated environments.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently in a fully home-based environment.
