Power BI Developer - Remote Opportunity

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain data warehousing solutions that support business intelligence needs.
• Implement ETL processes to ensure data quality and integrity, optimizing data models and storage solutions for performance and scalability.
• Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading, utilizing advanced SQL techniques for analytical queries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Snowflake with existing systems, ensuring seamless data flow and accessibility.
• Create and maintain insightful Power BI dashboards and reports, providing stakeholders with valuable data visualizations.
• Develop scripts to automate data processing and analysis using Python, enhancing efficiency in data manipulation tasks.
• Assist in the development and integration of APIs using PowerShell and RESTful services, ensuring interoperability between systems.
• Design and develop OLAP cubes to support business intelligence needs, optimizing cube performance for accurate data representation.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in BI development, data warehousing, and analytical queries.
• Proficient in advanced SQL and experienced with Snowflake integration.
• Hands-on experience with Python for data processing and automation.
• Intermediate knowledge of Power BI for reporting and visualization.
• Familiarity with API development (PowerShell, REST APIs) is desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Nice to Have

• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Power BI).
• Experience with cloud-based data solutions.
• Experience in the financial services/banking industry.
