Platform Engineer (AWS) - Healthtech B2B Start-up

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Platform Engineer (AWS) remote to join our innovative healthtech B2B start-up. This fully remote position offers a competitive base salary of up to £85,000 plus early equity and benefits. As a Platform Engineer, you will work with cutting-edge technologies and be part of a dynamic team that is revolutionizing the drug discovery sector.

What You'll Do

• Partner with core engineering teams to enhance the Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and GitOps ecosystems.
• Automate complex platform installations to create seamless, repeatable, and rapid deployment experiences.
• Act as a technical leader, collaborating with external infrastructure teams to solve deployment challenges and ensure flawless tech integration.
• Build and maintain secure containerized systems on Kubernetes while managing cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Utilize Terraform to automate infrastructure management and deployment processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role, with a solid academic foundation in Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering.
• Strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm.
• Proficient coding skills in Golang and/or Python, with additional programming languages being a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Proven ability to dismantle technical barriers and create elegant solutions for real-world users.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the healthtech sector or related fields.
• Familiarity with data privacy technologies such as federated learning and homomorphic encryption.
• Passion for continuous learning and working with emerging technologies.
