Personal Banking Associate Trainee - Remote Opportunities
About the Role
We are seeking a Personal Banking Associate Trainee to join our team at TD Canada Trust. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while helping customers with their banking needs. As a Personal Banking Associate Trainee, you will engage with customers to provide advice on financial products and services, ensuring a positive customer experience.
What You'll Do
- Establish and maintain impactful relationships with customers, guiding them to the right resources for their financial queries.
- Engage customers in day-to-day advice needs, service transactions, and digital education related to banking solutions.
- Support frontline staff with cash and non-cash transactions, resolving critical issues as they arise.
- Educate customers on emerging digital banking trends, including mobile and online banking.
- Participate in the timely and accurate completion of business processes and procedures.
- Recommend improvements to work practices and branch operations to enhance customer experience.
- Contribute to a positive work environment by promoting team effectiveness and sharing industry knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with TD's Code of Conduct and Ethics in all interactions.
Requirements
- High School diploma and/or 1+ years of relevant experience.
- Investment Funds Canada (IFC) or equivalent certification required within 6 months of appointment.
- Post-secondary or undergraduate degree in a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and branch software.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer experience.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with strong organizational skills.
- A self-starter with a can-do attitude and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Willingness to be mobile within the assigned district upon completion of the training program.
