People & Culture Manager - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a People & Culture Manager to join our dynamic team at smartvillage. This remote role will allow you to guide and support our employees and leaders throughout the entire employee lifecycle. As a key contact for development topics, you will lead employee discussions from a People & Culture perspective, assist with feedback formats, and create individual development roadmaps.
What You'll Do
- Guide employees and leadership through the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring a strong focus on talent development.
- Conduct employee discussions and support feedback processes to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manage operational HR processes, including onboarding, change agreements, and maintaining accurate digital personnel files.
- Ensure compliance with labor law standards and continuously improve existing processes in a structured and solution-oriented manner.
- Coordinate and oversee monthly payroll processes, including variable salary components and absences, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
- Actively contribute to the development of our digital HR landscape by optimizing processes and integrating AI-supported solutions.
- Support the development of HR metrics and analyze relevant KPIs to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Foster a professional and dynamic work atmosphere that aligns with our core values and growth mentality.
Requirements
- More than two years of experience in People & Culture or HR, with a solid educational background in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Law, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of operational HR work and a desire to develop in a managerial position.
- Proficiency in German labor law and experience with contracts, change agreements, and payroll processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead sensitive discussions and build trust.
- Digital affinity and experience with HR tools (ideally Personio) and a passion for process automation.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret HR metrics and their impact on business success.
- A collaborative spirit and the desire to contribute to a supportive and engaging work environment.
- Fluent in German (C2 level) and comfortable with occasional business travel to other locations.
