Payroll Risk & Compliance Principal - Nordics (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Payroll Risk & Compliance Principal - Nordics to join our team remotely. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to influence payroll compliance across Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. As a key member of our team, you will ensure that our payroll processes adhere to local regulations while leveraging automation and AI capabilities to streamline operations.

What You'll Do

• Hold personal statutory accountability for Norwegian payroll assignments.
• Embed Nordic legislation into product logic, systems, and governance frameworks.
• Translate complex legal requirements into scalable operational and technical design.
• Lead audits, investigations, and regulatory readiness across the region.
• Mentor and elevate compliance capability across the organization.

Requirements

• Active Autorisert Regnskapsfører licence (mandatory).
• Deep Norwegian payroll expertise with hands-on experience in A-melding reporting, NAV processes, and pension administration.
• Working knowledge of payroll and employment compliance in Sweden, Denmark, and/or Finland.
• Ability to convert statutory rules into structured, build-ready product requirements.
• Experience leading audits, regulatory reviews, or country-level compliance programs.

Nice to Have

• Experience in developing future compliance leaders through structured coaching programs.
• Strong documentation skills and thought leadership experience.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted compliance tooling.
