Payment Operations Specialist - Remote Role in FinTech

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Payment Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team at WeTravel. This remote role offers the opportunity to work in the exciting intersection of travel and fintech. As a Payment Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting and scaling our operational workflows across payments, risk, and customer operations.

What You'll Do

• Support payment screening and transaction monitoring to identify and prevent fraudulent activities.
• Investigate and document suspicious activities related to card and bank payments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational workflows and tools.
• Engage with clients and organizers to resolve payment-related issues effectively.
• Take ownership of operational projects and adapt to evolving business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Operations, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in an analytical or operations role with customer interaction.
• Familiarity with payment operations, including card payments and disputes.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess risk.
• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with payment service providers like Stripe or Adyen.
• Proficiency in Spanish.
