Senior Electrical Modeller - MEP (Relocation Support)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Electrical Modeller - MEP to join our engineering team at Ubique Systems. This Senior Electrical Modeller remote position offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects while enjoying relocation support to Jamshedpur, India. You will play a crucial role in developing accurate 3D electrical MEP models using Revit, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

What You'll Do

• Develop and manage 3D electrical MEP models using Revit, focusing on cable tray design, cable routing, junction box layout, and electrical equipment modelling.
• Coordinate with mechanical and plumbing teams for effective MEP integration.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks Manage to ensure seamless project execution.
• Review and interpret electrical schematics, single line diagrams (SLDs), and technical drawings.
• Generate detailed electrical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Support project teams in BIM coordination meetings and model reviews.
• Ensure compliance with company and client-specific BIM standards and protocols.
• Collaborate with design engineers to update models as per design changes.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience as an Electrical Modeller in MEP/BIM projects.
• Expertise in Revit (Electrical discipline) with hands-on experience in large-scale MEP projects.
• Strong knowledge of cable tray routing, cable management, JB placement, and electrical room layouts.
• Proficient in Navisworks for clash detection and coordination workflows.
• Skilled in AutoCAD for 2D electrical drafting.
• Good understanding of MEP coordination, BIM workflows, and industry standards (e.g., IEC, IS codes).
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in industrial or infrastructure MEP projects.
• Familiarity with BIM 360 or other common data environments (CDEs).
• Basic understanding of electrical load calculations or design principles (not mandatory).
