Senior AI Architect - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely and be a key player in shaping the future of our AI platforms. You will be instrumental in designing and evolving our AI architectures, enabling the integration of data, machine learning, and large language models into real products that enhance the buying and selling experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement end-to-end AI/ML architecture for Trader Interactive, focusing on data pipelines, feature stores, training, online inference, and monitoring.
• Evaluate and select AI tooling and platforms in our primarily AWS-centric environment, providing clear recommendations on build vs. buy strategies.
• Provide technical mentorship to data scientists and engineers, ensuring best practices in AI architecture and implementation.
• Continuously assess the AI landscape and recommend technologies that improve product performance and developer velocity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions with measurable success metrics.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software, data, or distributed systems, with a strong focus on ML/AI solutions in production.
• Proficiency in cloud-native architectures, preferably AWS, and modern data platforms.
• Deep understanding of applied machine learning and LLM-based systems, including data preparation and model monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with vector databases, prompt engineering, and workflow orchestration.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex AI systems to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience leading AI projects from inception to completion.
