Part-Time Site Shunter - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Part-Time Site Shunter to join our team at Victoria's Secret UK & IRE. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while ensuring that our logistics operations run smoothly. As a Site Shunter, you will be responsible for allocating bays for vehicles and trailers for unloading and loading, logging and recording trailer movements on and off-site, and coordinating all trailer requirements with the warehouse and transport teams. You will play a crucial role in making sure that drivers follow site procedures, including choking, parking, coupling, and uncoupling, while monitoring the yard area to safeguard pedestrians.

What You'll Do

• Allocate bays for vehicles and trailers to facilitate efficient unloading and loading.
• Log and record trailer movements on and off-site accurately.
• Coordinate trailer requirements with warehouse and transport teams.
• Ensure compliance with site procedures for drivers.
• Monitor the yard area to ensure safety for all pedestrians.
• Collaborate closely with warehouse and transport teams regarding stock tipping, dispatch, and loading requirements.

Requirements

• Class 1 C&E license and CPC card.
• Maximum of 6 points on license.
• Minimum of 1 year LGV driving experience.
• Strong communication skills and a team player attitude.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and protocols.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a similar role within the retail or logistics industry.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
