New Business Account Executive - Remote Role for Nordics
About the Role
We are looking for a New Business Account Executive to join our team remotely, focusing on the Nordics region. In this role, you will play a crucial part in GitLab's growth by acquiring new customers and expanding our market presence. As a New Business Account Executive remote, you will build relationships with C-level and senior technical buyers at high-growth companies, manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to closing deals, and create your own pipeline through consistent, high-quality prospecting.
What You'll Do
- Manage the full new logo acquisition cycle from first outreach through close for high-growth target accounts in the Nordics market.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline through consistent, high-quality prospecting across various channels including phone, email, and social media.
- Run effective discovery meetings to uncover business pain points, quantify impact, and align GitLab’s value proposition with executive-level priorities.
- Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, engaging C-level executives and cross-functional buying committees to drive consensus.
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans, including account segmentation and tailored engagement strategies for high-potential prospects.
- Partner with Solutions Architecture and Customer Success to orchestrate technical evaluations and smooth post-sale handoffs.
- Apply GitLab’s sales methodologies to qualify pipeline and maintain predictable forecasting.
- Maintain consistent Salesforce practices with detailed account notes and competitive insights.
Requirements
- Experience in B2B SaaS sales focused on net-new logo acquisition and new business development.
- Demonstrated success in building territories from scratch and generating pipeline in greenfield accounts.
- Familiarity with consumption-based business models and the ability to position value beyond traditional licensing structures.
- Strong discovery, qualification, and consultative selling skills for engaging C-level executives.
- Ability to manage multiple complex opportunities while maintaining an organized prospecting cadence.
- Proficiency with modern sales tech stack tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with a focus on continuous learning and coaching.
- Language skills in Swedish or Danish are a plus.
