Mobile Testing QA Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Testing QA Manager to join our dynamic team at BrainRocket, a global leader in creating innovative tech products for clients across Fintech, iGaming, and Marketing. As a Mobile Testing QA Manager, you will take ownership of the overall quality of our mobile platform, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while leading a talented team of mobile QA engineers.

What You'll Do

• Strategy & Process Engineering: Design, implement, and standardize mobile testing processes (both manual and automated) across all distributed product teams.
• Drive Overall Quality: Define, monitor, and improve key mobile quality metrics such as Crash-free users, Defect Escape Rate, Time to Market, and Test Coverage.
• Tooling & Infrastructure: Select and maintain the optimal tech stack for mobile testing, including automation frameworks, real-device farms, and cloud testing services.
• CI/CD Integration: Collaborate closely with DevOps to ensure mobile automated tests are seamlessly integrated into the continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Team & Chapter Management: Functionally manage a distributed team of mobile QA engineers working across independent product squads.
• Talent Growth: Lead hiring, onboarding, and continuous development of your team, conducting regular 1-on-1s and building Personal Development Plans (PDPs).
• Community Building: Establish a "Mobile QA Guild" to foster knowledge sharing and align on standards.
• Technical Leadership: Audit and review complex test plans, test cases, and testing strategies for large-scale, cross-team features.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years focused on mobile testing (iOS and Android).
• 2+ years of experience mentoring or managing QA engineers in a matrix or distributed team environment.
• Hands-on experience with mobile test automation tools such as Appium, Maestro, Espresso, or XCUITest.
• Deep understanding of mobile ecosystem specifics, including App Store and Google Play release guidelines.
• Experience working with CI/CD tools, mobile device farms, and network debugging tools.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to influence cross-functional teams.

• Experience building QA processes from scratch in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of mobile performance and security testing.
