Mobile Funeral Arranger - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Mobile Funeral Arranger to join our team at Co-op Funeralcare. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fulfilling role where you will provide essential support to families during their time of need. As a Mobile Funeral Arranger, you will travel across Harrogate, Thirsk, Northallerton, and York, ensuring that families receive the highest level of care and professionalism. This position offers a competitive salary of £26,266 per annum and the chance to make a real difference in your community.
What You'll Do
- Travel to meet clients and build positive relationships within the community.
- Support clients both in person and over the phone, arranging family visits and answering questions.
- Ensure the funeral home is clean, safe, and welcoming, maintaining a professional environment.
- Utilize digital systems and devices to manage client documentation and funeral arrangements accurately.
- Refer regulated work to the Funeral Plan Arrangers team as necessary.
- Assist with the manual handling of coffins and care of the deceased, ensuring dignity and respect.
- Update client management applications with accurate and timely information.
Requirements
- A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Ability to work independently and confidently manage a branch when needed.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work with numbers for cash handling and invoicing.
- Attention to detail and adherence to regulatory policies.
- Good IT skills, with proficiency in using various technology devices.
- Empathy, discretion, and a passion for delivering excellent service.
- Physical capability to perform tasks such as moving coffins safely.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field.
- Familiarity with funeral services or care professions.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
