Mobile Funeral Arranger - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Mobile Funeral Arranger to join our team at Co-op Funeralcare. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fulfilling role where you will provide essential support to families during their time of need. As a Mobile Funeral Arranger, you will travel across Harrogate, Thirsk, Northallerton, and York, ensuring that families receive the highest level of care and professionalism. This position offers a competitive salary of £26,266 per annum and the chance to make a real difference in your community.

What You'll Do

• Travel to meet clients and build positive relationships within the community.
• Support clients both in person and over the phone, arranging family visits and answering questions.
• Ensure the funeral home is clean, safe, and welcoming, maintaining a professional environment.
• Utilize digital systems and devices to manage client documentation and funeral arrangements accurately.
• Refer regulated work to the Funeral Plan Arrangers team as necessary.
• Assist with the manual handling of coffins and care of the deceased, ensuring dignity and respect.
• Update client management applications with accurate and timely information.

Requirements

• A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
• Ability to work independently and confidently manage a branch when needed.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work with numbers for cash handling and invoicing.
• Attention to detail and adherence to regulatory policies.
• Good IT skills, with proficiency in using various technology devices.
• Empathy, discretion, and a passion for delivering excellent service.
• Physical capability to perform tasks such as moving coffins safely.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in customer service or a related field.
• Familiarity with funeral services or care professions.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
