Middle UI/​UX Designer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Middle UI/UX Designer to join our team remotely. With 3+ years of experience, you will work on design solutions for innovative tech companies across Europe and the USA. This Middle UI/UX Designer remote position allows you to grow in a strong design-driven environment while contributing to the design community through podcasts, conferences, guest lectures, and meetups.

What You'll Do

• Gather and evaluate user requirements based on client comments and requests, ensuring they meet both user needs and business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to identify and solve UX problems.
• Create and maintain a design system, including components, variables, and documentation, ensuring consistency across all products.
• Design wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups in Figma, iterating based on feedback and usability studies.
• Ensure designs are accessible and follow the WCAG 2.2 standards.
• Conduct UX research activities, including usability testing, surveys, and interviews, to make informed design decisions.
• Communicate design decisions effectively and confidently to both internal and external stakeholders, presenting alternatives with rationale.
• Participate in peer design reviews and manage risks and assumptions throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience in UI/UX design, specifically with complex products.
• Expert proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, and prototyping.
• Experience designing with accessibility in mind, understanding WCAG 2.2.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design process, problem-solving skills, and impact on final results.
• Experience in UX research, information architecture, wireframing, and validation.
• Excellent visual style, typography, color, composition, and overall aesthetics.
• Strong collaboration skills with developers for effective handoff and post-development design review.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present and articulate design decisions.

Nice to Have

• Experience in creating, documenting, and managing design systems.
• Strong soft skills and emotional intelligence for effective collaboration.
• Upper-intermediate English level or higher.
