Middle & High School English Teacher - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Middle & High School English Teacher to join Nord Anglia Education in a remote capacity. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire students in their literary journey while developing their reading, speaking, and comprehension skills.

What You'll Do

• Plan and teach English classes according to the IB and MYP Program curriculum.
• Engage students in meaningful learning experiences that promote critical thinking and inquiry.
• Utilize pedagogic strategies to foster a stimulating learning environment.
• Participate in Parent-Teacher Conferences to discuss student progress.
• Attend school events as indicated by the principal.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in English Literature (literature, writing, and/or composition).
• Knowledge of IB programs, Extended Essay, and Personal Project.
• Native English speaker with at least 3 years of experience teaching at Middle or High School levels.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain class control.
• Experience working with teenagers and lesson planning.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with the Project Approach and Reggio Emilia inspiration.
• Experience in international education settings.
