PR & Communications Executive - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and proactive PR & Communications Executive to join our team at Bedford Lodge Hotel & Spa. This remote PR & Communications Executive position offers the opportunity to work alongside our Sales & Marketing team, implementing effective brand communication strategies that position our hotel as a luxury destination. You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of public relations activities, including driving media coverage and maintaining relationships with journalists and local tourism authorities.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement PR strategies that enhance the brand image of Bedford Lodge Hotel & Spa.
- Secure press trips and influencer visits to promote our luxury offerings.
- Monitor media coverage and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns.
- Maintain and develop relationships with local, regional, and national media.
- Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team to align PR efforts with overall marketing strategies.
- Attend onsite meetings and events as required, including occasional weekend and evening work.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a PR-specific role, either in-house or at an agency.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different platforms.
- Existing media contacts and the ability to develop new relationships.
- A genuine passion for PR and the media landscape.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in PR, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is desirable.
- Previous experience in a hospitality environment is a plus.

- Experience with digital marketing and social media strategies.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry trends.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
