What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain high-quality WordPress sites from start to finish.
• Utilize effective, responsive design principles to enhance user experience.
• Select and modify WordPress themes and plugins as necessary.
• Implement security practices to protect our sites and user data.
• Collaborate with a team of developers to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Manage workflow and adhere to deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues using tools like Firebug and Chrome Inspector.
• Convert layouts and wireframes into functional HTML pages.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a WordPress Developer remote.
• Proven track record of developing at least 10 high-quality WordPress sites.
• Experience with WordPress builders such as Elementor, DIVI, or WPBakery.
• Basic skills in CSS3, HTML, and MySQL in the context of WordPress.
• Familiarity with WordPress deployment processes (SFTP, DNS, cPanel, SSL).
• Ability to manage and modify WordPress plugins effectively.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and user interface development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a high-quality agency or outsourcing company.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for WordPress sites.
• Familiarity with additional programming languages or frameworks.
