Mid-Senior Test Automation Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This Test Automation Engineer remote position is ideal for candidates based in India, particularly in the Hyderabad area, but we welcome applicants from other regions as well. As a Test Automation Engineer remote, you will be responsible for developing automation frameworks from scratch and ensuring the quality of our software products through rigorous testing methodologies.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using LeanFT, Selenium with Java, and WebdriverIO.
• Design and implement test strategies and frameworks, including Page Objects, Keyword Driven, Data Driven, and Hybrid frameworks.
• Create automated test scripts for APIs and web services using Rest Assured.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure alignment of test cases with project requirements.
• Execute automated test cases, analyze outcomes, and report defects effectively.
• Utilize SQL for database testing and perform automated data validations using JDBC.
• Support Continuous Integration processes by integrating test scripts with Jenkins.
• Participate in functional, integration, and regression testing to ensure software quality.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer in software testing.
• Proficiency in Oracle Applications, Client/Server, and web-based applications.
• Strong expertise in automation tools such as Selenium, UFT, LeanFT, and Rest Assured.
• Experience with BDD using Cucumber and writing test scenarios in Gherkin format.
• Excellent SQL skills for writing queries and performing database testing.
• Familiarity with Jenkins for Continuous Integration.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Strong analytical skills for defect identification and resolution.

Nice to Have

• Experience with TestNG and ALM tools.
• Knowledge of performance testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices.
