Mid-Senior Project Engineer - Nationwide Opportunities

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Mid-Senior Project Engineer to join our team at TW Constructors. This Project Engineer remote position will be based on construction project sites across the nation, providing an opportunity to engage in diverse projects and contribute to our mission of building community support and success.

What You'll Do

  • Support project staff to ensure quality and timely execution of design/build projects from inception to completion.
  • Manage scheduling, bidding, permitting, subcontractor buyout, cost reporting, and project closeout.
  • Effectively communicate and negotiate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Assist in the management of subcontractors and monitor project labor, costs, and equipment needs.
  • Participate in design development to value engineer construction methods, reducing time and costs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and OSHA requirements on all job sites.
  • Manage the submittal process, change order negotiations, and contract compliance.
  • Establish effective relationships to foster a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-5 years of experience in commercial project management.
  • Active job site experience with a strong safety record.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and inspection reports.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including MS Excel and MS Project.
  • Procore certification or knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Building Code and Safety Regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively.

Nice to Have

  • Design-Build experience.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and track change orders.
  • Experience with project management software.
