About the Role
Join our team as a DevOps Engineer remote and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cloud infrastructure and software development practices. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a hybrid environment in the Greater Barcelona Metropolitan Area, where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to building a robust infrastructure from the ground up.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate closely with Backend, Frontend, QA, and Data Science teams to support their infrastructure needs and optimize deployment workflows.
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline code deployment, testing, and release processes.
- Enforce observability best practices by setting up and maintaining monitoring and alerting systems in Datadog.
- Conduct root cause analysis and manage incidents effectively to ensure system reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.).
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD).
- Fluent level of English.
Nice to Have
- Eager to contribute to infrastructure or monitoring in programming languages outside your comfort zone (TypeScript, C#).
- MLOps experience.
- Experience with Zero Trust solutions.
