About the Role
We're looking for a Data Quality Assurance Developer to join our growing data team. This remote position will allow you to work from anywhere while ensuring the accuracy of patient prescription and medical history data, which is crucial for clinical and operational teams delivering care. As a Data Quality Assurance Developer, you'll play a vital role in maintaining data integrity and quality across various platforms.
What You'll Do
- Write and execute test cases against data pipelines, SQL queries, and database objects to confirm data accuracy.
- Validate patient data integrity across Redshift and Snowflake environments, ensuring prescription records and medical histories are accurate.
- Identify, document, and track data quality defects through resolution.
- Test ETL/ELT workflows to confirm data moves correctly between source systems and cloud targets without loss or corruption.
- Review Qlik data models and reports for accuracy against underlying data sources.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a QA developer with a focus on data quality, not application or software testing.
- Strong SQL skills with experience writing and dissecting complex queries against analytical data warehouses.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms.
- Background in regulated or compliance-driven industries such as healthcare, pharma, or finance.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Playwright or similar test automation tools.
- Familiarity with Redshift, Snowflake, Qlik, or similar BI tools.
- Experience in the pharma or healthcare industry.
