Mid-Senior Backend Java Developer for Banking Projects - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Mid-Senior Backend Java Developer to join our team at Vortech PCI Group. What You'll Do

• Develop backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and evolve microservices architectures.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs.
• Work in agile teams focused on quality and best practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and DevOps environments.

Requirements

• For Mid-level: 3-5 years of experience with Java (8/11+) and Spring.
• Experience in developing microservices and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience with relational databases like Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies.

Nice to Have

• For Senior-level: 10+ years of experience with Java and system design.
• Experience in microservices architecture (DDD, hexagonal).
• Familiarity with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Strong English proficiency (C1 level) and technical leadership skills.
