Mid-Level Software Engineer - .NET Core & Azure

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mid-Level Software Engineer to join our team remotely. As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the backend of our applications using technologies such as .NET Core, Azure, microservices, SQL, and AKS. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects in the InsuranceTech industry, contributing to the development of high-quality software solutions.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain the backend of our applications using .NET Core, Azure, microservices, SQL, and AKS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Manage deployment of applications and work with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Engage in continuous learning and problem-solving to adapt to new technologies and business concepts.
• Utilize your knowledge of front-end technologies, including React JS, CSS, and HTML5, to enhance application functionality.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development, specifically with .NET Core and Azure.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and experience with AKS.
• Proficient in SQL Server and familiar with database queries, stored procedures, and system integration using SSIS.
• Experience with object-oriented analysis, design patterns, and multi-threaded applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A degree in Information Technology or a related field.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the Insurance/Reinsurance domain.
• Knowledge of UI design and basic prototype design for applications.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment practices.
