Mid-Level Remote DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure Specialist
About the Role
We’re hiring a Mid-Level Remote DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at Turbo Impact. In this fully remote role, you will play a crucial part in building, maintaining, and scaling our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Your expertise will ensure that our systems are reliable, secure, and highly available, enabling fast and efficient software delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline software deployment.
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling processes to enhance efficiency.
- Manage containerized environments utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and reliability to ensure optimal operation.
- Improve infrastructure security, compliance, and best practices across the organization.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support releases and troubleshoot production issues.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to enhance deployment processes.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or infrastructure engineering.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for container management.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash or Python.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of security best practices and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Experience with high-scale distributed systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts such as DNS, load balancing, and VPNs.
- Experience with cost optimization strategies in cloud environments.
- Relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) are a plus.
