Senior Software Test Architect - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a driven and ambitious Senior Software Test Architect to join our team at TOPIC Embedded Systems. This remote role offers the opportunity to oversee the entire testing strategies and processes, from planning to execution, ensuring the highest quality in our innovative projects. As a Senior Software Test Architect, you will lead the development of automated tests and qualification tools, collaborating with a talented team to make the world smarter and healthier.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the entire testing architecture and strategies, ensuring consistency and quality from planning to execution.
• Develop automated test capabilities using languages such as C++, C, and Python for objective, reproducible, and maintainable automated tests.
• Design and implement smart testing strategies, optimizing processes for seamless integration and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in an international, multidisciplinary, and Agile environment.
• Mentor junior engineers and act as a sparring partner for customers, raising the bar for quality and innovation.
• Review code and share your expertise to elevate the team, quality, and processes.
• Explore different solution approaches to achieve the best results in testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in software development with Python and C/C++ in the high-tech domain.
• Proven experience with various testing techniques and solid knowledge of higher-level testing methods such as BDD, keyword-driven testing, and data-driven testing.
• Experience with end-to-end test automation, continuous integration, and maintaining ROBOT test frameworks.
• A team player who is solution-oriented and proactive, with a motivation to continuously improve and develop new skills.
• Good command of English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
