About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Product Manager for our AI-Powered Automotive Parts Platform. This remote role allows you to lead the development of our proprietary AI model, Interpreter, specifically designed for the automotive parts industry. You'll be instrumental in shaping the future of our platform, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in parts validation and management.

What You'll Do

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Interpreter, aligning with company objectives.
  • Continuously assess and improve product-market fit across various stakeholders, including repairers, suppliers, and insurers.
  • Lead the development of key product metrics, including verification accuracy and automation rates.
  • Prototype new product iterations using AI-assisted development tools.
  • Maintain direct contact with customers to gather insights and feedback, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Collaborate with engineering leads to balance discovery and delivery effectively.
  • Define and communicate what success looks like for Interpreter's outputs.
  • Contribute to cross-product coherence and help define excellent product ownership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a product manager in a data-intensive or AI/ML environment.
  • Proven track record of managing model-dependent user-facing products.
  • Strong analytical skills to define and reason from product metrics.
  • Experience in building rapid prototypes using AI-assisted tools.
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities under ambiguity.
  • Familiarity with the automotive or parts supply chain industry is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Domain knowledge in automotive aftermarket or collision repair.
  • Experience with computer vision or structured data extraction products.
  • Experience scaling products across multiple markets.
