About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Node.js Developer to join our innovative team at CI&T. As a Remote Node.js Developer, you will play a crucial role in modernizing solutions for one of Brazil's most renowned hospitals. Your expertise in Node.js and JavaScript will be essential in adopting AI tools to enhance development processes and user experience.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with a talented team to architect and develop high-performance, scalable systems.
  • Utilize your knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript to create and maintain RESTful APIs.
  • Integrate cloud services to enhance system functionality and performance.
  • Implement automated testing practices to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Continuously seek improvements in engineering processes and practices.

Requirements

  • Solid experience with Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and RESTful API development.
  • Experience with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks.
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Experience with automated testing (unit and integration tests).
  • Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka.
  • Familiarity with AWS services (EKS, ECS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront) or equivalent cloud platforms.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with GraphQL.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
