Mid-Level DevOps Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We’re hiring a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. As a DevOps Engineer remote professional, you will play a critical role in building, automating, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Your expertise will ensure that our systems are reliable, secure, and highly available, enabling fast and efficient software delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis to maintain system integrity.
• Collaborate with developers to optimize release processes and improve deployment workflows.
• Continuously improve system reliability and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure roles.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for container management.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash or Python.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security hardening.
• Familiarity with GitOps workflows.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization strategies.
• Exposure to networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, VPNs).
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
