Mid-Level Data Engineer - Remote Position at Recordly

About the Role

We're looking for a Mid-Level Data Engineer to join Recordly's team in a fully remote capacity. As a Data Engineer, you will be at the forefront of transforming data into actionable insights for our clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with various data solutions, platforms, and pipelines, making data a competitive edge for businesses.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement data pipelines to facilitate data processing and analytics.
• Collaborate with teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical tasks.
• Work with cloud infrastructure, particularly Azure, AWS, and GCP, to build scalable data solutions.
• Utilize SQL and programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala to develop data models and ETL processes.
• Engage in data warehousing and analytics to enhance strategic KPIs for our clients.

Requirements

• Experience in building data pipelines and working with cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala.
• Understanding of data lake infrastructure, data warehousing, and analytics tools.
• Experience with version control systems like GitHub and CI/CD tools.
• Fluent in English and Finnish, as some projects require Finnish language skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with MPP databases like Snowflake or Databricks.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies including DevOps and DataOps.
