Mid-Level Business Analyst - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Business Analyst remote to join The Fountain Group, a national staffing firm, for a prominent client. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the continental U.S. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing customer and operational data to identify areas for improvement and enhance the overall customer experience.

What You'll Do

• Analyze customer and operational data to identify performance gaps and recommend data-driven solutions.
• Monitor and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) across the organization.
• Lead initiatives aimed at improving metrics and enhancing the customer experience.
• Develop and maintain Sheets/Excel-based models, ensuring accuracy and scalability.
• Write SQL queries to extract and analyze large datasets.
• Leverage Python to automate workflows and improve efficiency.
• Translate business questions into structured analyses and design reporting frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive measurable results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics) is required.
• 5+ years of experience in strategy, analytics, management consulting, product, or tech company roles.
• Strong expertise in SQL queries, ETL processes, and A/B testing.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel with experience in building scalable models.
• Python experience is a strong plus, especially in automating processes.
• Preferred experience in building AI models and influencing cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a business or customer operations context.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of industry trends in data analytics.
