Mechanical Design Engineer - Remote Opportunities

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. This Mechanical Design Engineer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work on large integrated electro-mechanical systems from concept through to scaled production and global deployment. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will own your hardware end to end, driving designs through the full product lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop electromechanical and structural assemblies.
• Own system level designs using 3D and 2D CAD tools.
• Prototype, test, and iterate designs quickly to meet project goals.
• Perform FEA, thermal analysis, and hand calculations to validate designs.
• Ensure designs are manufacturable, inspectable, and scalable.
• Work closely with suppliers to optimize design for manufacture (DFM).

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience in mechanical design engineering.
• Experience designing electromechanical or structural systems.
• Strong CAD capability managing multi-part assemblies.
• Proficiency in GD&T, FEA, and design for assembly.
• Prototyping and hands-on development experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience in avionics, powertrain, or battery systems.
• Knowledge of propulsion and ground systems.
