Mechanical Assembly Technician - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join MAT EXAKTA, a leader in the design and manufacturing of weighing and packaging machinery for fruits. This is a unique opportunity to work remotely while contributing to our global operations. As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling packaging and weighing machines, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Assemble packaging and weighing machines, either at the workbench or on chassis.
• Install mechanical and pneumatic components necessary for machine fabrication.
• Operate machinery such as radial saws, riveting machines, and drills.
• Test completed machines to ensure they function correctly and meet specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes and efficiency.
• Travel globally as required to support machine installations and customer needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role.
• Technical degree in Electromechanical Maintenance or equivalent.
• Proficient in using tools such as radial saws, drills, and riveting machines.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the packaging machinery industry.
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
