About the Role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for writing and revising documents for assembly, testing, and packaging operations, while designing reliable and efficient assembly methods. This Manufacturing Engineering Specialist remote position offers a competitive salary range of $82,500 - $95,000 annually.

What You'll Do

  • Set standard production times (process routes) and calculate TAKT TIME.
  • Assess cell and work center capacity to optimize production efficiency.
  • Examine cell line balancing to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support pre-pilot and pilot productions during the introduction of new products.
  • Develop, manage, and update factory and production cell drawings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or equivalent in an industrial electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Office, Microsoft Project, MRP, and AutoCAD tools.
  • Fluency in spoken and written French and English is required to work with a global multidisciplinary team.

Nice to Have

  • White Belt, Green Belt, or Black Belt training will be considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of programming languages and electronics principles.
  • Membership in the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec.
