Management Consultant (Supply Chain Planning) - Remote
About the Role
We are looking for a Management Consultant (Supply Chain Planning) to join our team remotely. As a Management Consultant, you will turn data, processes, and technology into real impact across global supply chains. This role is perfect for graduates of 2026 who are eager to start their careers in consulting.
What You'll Do
- Design planning processes to support the development of forecasting, demand & supply planning, S&OP/IBP, and inventory optimization processes.
- Drive implementation by translating business requirements into structured process designs, governance models, and implementation plans.
- Support digital transformations by contributing to the design and rollout of planning solutions (e.g., SAP IBP and other platforms).
- Enable change and adoption by preparing and facilitating workshops, supporting stakeholder alignment, and helping embed new ways of working.
- Deliver impact by optimizing planning performance, improving decision-making, and building sustainable capabilities within client organizations.
Requirements
- You are about to complete, or have recently completed, a master’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering, supply chain, operations research, or business analytics with strong academic results.
- First exposure to supply chain concepts (e.g., through internships, projects, or thesis work).
- Enjoy solving complex problems and working analytically.
- Structured communication skills and confidence in presenting ideas.
- Thrive in a collaborative, project-based environment.
- Curiosity about digital tools and interest in planning technologies (e.g., SAP IBP).
- Fluency in German and English is required.
Nice to Have
- Experience with digital transformation projects.
- Knowledge of additional planning software.
- Previous consulting experience, even if brief.
