Join our Health AIML team as a Machine Learning Research Scientist to work on cutting-edge technologies that impact millions of users. This remote Machine Learning Research Scientist position offers you the opportunity to develop next-generation multimodal models that enhance health and fitness experiences.

What You'll Do

• Lead research into health and fitness representation models and multimodal models.
• Design, prototype, and scale up new architectures to improve model intelligence.
• Execute and analyze experiments autonomously and collaboratively.
• Study, debug, and optimize model performance and computational performance.
• Contribute to training and inference infrastructure.
• Guide technical and architectural decisions.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science/Engineering, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Industry work experience in machine learning and AI.
• Experience contributing to major LLM training runs.
• Proven track record of publishing state-of-the-art research.
• Strong skills with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.

Nice to Have

• Experience in training and evaluating multimodal models.
• Understanding of time-series modeling, self-supervised learning, and cross-modal training.
• Ability to evaluate and improve deep learning architectures independently.
• Motivated to safely deploy LLMs in the health and fitness space.
