About the Role
Join our team as a Linux Systems Administrator (Service Desk) for Space, Cyber and Intelligence Systems! This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse team managing enterprise systems, specialized Linux OS, cross-domain solutions, and boundary devices. As a Linux Systems Administrator remote, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of critical systems.
What You'll Do
- Engage in hands-on work with RedHat Linux, system/server builds, and advanced troubleshooting.
- Provide top-notch customer service in your user-facing role.
- Manage enterprise-level solutions and re-image workstations, servers, and peripherals.
- Apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and address vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-domain and boundary device solutions.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Red Hat LINUX command line administration.
- Proficiency in OS and hardware/software troubleshooting.
- Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
- A minimum of IAT Level II (DoD 8570/8140.01) certification is required at time of hire.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Expertise in re-imaging both physical and virtual servers.
- Experience using Ansible, Satellite, Ansible Tower/Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
