About the Role

We are seeking a talented Lead Product Designer - Remote to join our innovative team at tem. As a pioneering company dedicated to transforming the energy transaction system, we aim to empower individuals and businesses by enabling direct purchases of energy from renewable generators through our innovative product, RED™. This role offers you the opportunity to lead design outcomes end-to-end across key product surfaces, making a significant impact in the energy sector.

What You'll Do

• Own design outcomes end-to-end across key product surfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Be the ‘taste maker’ for the next generation of Agentic experiences in Energy.
• Build the AI-native design platform and design interaction systems for AI that scale.
• Solve complex product constraints in the open and set clear design narratives.
• Orchestrate across Product, Engineering, Data, and other partners to deliver exceptional experiences.
• Make quality visible and explicit in all design processes.

Requirements

• Exceptional Product Design experience with clear end-to-end ownership.
• Passion for building with AI and for AI, with a track record of delivering exceptional experiences.
• Deep experience building AI-augmented workflows and proven experience designing and scaling design platforms.
• Strong intuition for all interaction states and comfort working closely with engineers.
• Clear, structured communicator with role model level judgement.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the energy sector or related fields.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and design thinking.
• Knowledge of user research methodologies.
