Regional Sales Director - North America (Remote)
About the Role
Avery Dennison is looking for a Regional Sales Director to join our team in North America. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to lead the growth strategy for Taylor Adhesives, a flagship brand within our North American Materials Group. As a Regional Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our commercial strategy and driving our sales initiatives across complex distribution channels.
What You'll Do
- Lead the growth strategy for Taylor Adhesives, focusing on innovative solutions.
- Manage a team of 8 regional experts, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Define and execute the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) to meet business objectives.
- Develop and implement comprehensive business and customer plans.
- Negotiate major contracts to maximize profitability and market share.
- Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, and Operations to align strategies.
- Identify trends and opportunities for marketplace advantage.
- Participate in trade associations and technical conferences to enhance visibility.
- Attract and develop high-potential talent to strengthen the team.
- Expect to travel 60% of the time to meet clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 10+ years of sales or business development experience.
- Experience in the building products industry, preferably in Adhesives and Flooring.
- Strong background in strategic leadership and contract negotiation.
- Advanced business and financial acumen.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to convey information concisely and effectively.
