What You'll Do

• Manage day-to-day design operations and coordinate team efforts to maximize efficiency.
• Build and optimize processes for handling inbound design requests effectively.
• Scope project requirements and allocate team bandwidth to meet deadlines.
• Translate business needs into clear design priorities, navigating uncertainty with ease.
• Drive team structure, develop resourcing strategies, and lead future hiring initiatives.
• Conduct interviews and assist in scaling the design organization.
• Manage relationships with agencies, contractors, and external vendors to ensure project success.
• Represent the design team across the organization, setting clear expectations and timelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product, brand, or digital design.
• Proven experience leading or managing design teams in a growing organization.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present design rationale to stakeholders confidently.
• Experience in creating clarity in fast-moving and ambiguous environments.
• Structured, systems-oriented mindset with a keen eye for detail and visual excellence.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including organizing libraries and enabling collaboration.
