About the Role

We are excited to announce an opening for a Lead Marketing Analyst remote position at Nexters, a leading international game development company. Our mission is to bring the joy of core gaming experiences to casual players. As a Lead Marketing Analyst remote, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive growth and enhance our user acquisition strategies.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct marketing analytics and provide traffic acquisition support for our flagship game, Hero Wars: Dominion Era (Web).
  • Analyze the impact of advertising campaigns on key marketing and product metrics to optimize performance.
  • Identify custom events and growth opportunities that enhance acquisition efficiency and scalability.
  • Develop user lifetime value (LTV) and return on investment (ROI) forecasting systems by segment.
  • Participate in the design and validation of new approaches to evaluate acquisition performance.
  • Manage and develop the analytics function, leading the analytics direction for HWD, setting priorities, assigning tasks, and reviewing results.
  • Build and maintain a backlog of analytical initiatives from ideation to implementation and impact measurement.
  • Align analytics across user acquisition, product, and forecasting teams to ensure a unified analytical environment.
  • Set tasks for developing and maintaining Tableau dashboards to track business metrics.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in data analysis using Python (core libraries) and SQL (ClickHouse, Airflow).
  • Solid understanding of user acquisition processes, including traffic structure, optimization, and attribution models.
  • Proven marketing analytics cases that have led to measurable user acquisition performance growth.
  • Ability to evaluate the financial outcomes of projects independently.
  • Experience managing analytics projects with a proactive and business-oriented mindset.
  • Strong systems and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience with A/B testing methodologies.
  • Intermediate+ English proficiency.

Nice to Have

  • General understanding of machine learning and experience working with algorithms.
  • Experience with Tableau and Airflow.
