About the Role

AbbVie is seeking a Lead Global Procurement Systems - Remote to ensure the successful delivery of complex IT projects. This role is pivotal in managing activities and team members while providing high-quality systems solutions to meet business needs. As a Lead in Global Procurement Systems, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and efficiency within the organization.

What You'll Do

• Manage complex IT projects and team activities to ensure compliance with Corporate and Divisional Policies.
• Develop and monitor group goals and objectives while utilizing formal SDLC for system development activities.
• Provide project status reports and identify user needs through consultation with business units for process improvements.
• Track and manage defects and issues, ensuring accountability for project delivery within scope and budget.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on system updates, fostering continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years of experience; Master’s Degree with 5 years preferred.
• 5+ years of Business/System Analysis and software testing experience.
• Experience with Salesforce is required.
• Strong documentation and project management skills are essential.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in professional consulting and program/project management preferred.
• PMI or PMP certification is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and systems.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
