Shared Services Specialist - Remote Position
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Shared Services Specialist - Remote to join our team at EMS Management & Consultants. In this role, you will play a crucial part in administering various client membership programs while ensuring high-quality service delivery. What You'll Do
- Facilitate all aspects of each client membership program, ensuring seamless operations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for company training and address inquiries regarding client membership programs.
- Conduct quality audits of both internal and third-party vendor teams to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Perform root cause analysis of payment exceptions and missing payments to enhance overall service quality.
- Establish methods for payment extraction through automation, improving operational efficiency.
- Engage in extensive payment reconciliations to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Create payment and month-end reports to provide insights into financial performance.
- Analyze current Shared Services processes to identify defects and develop process improvements.
- Create new and update existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Aids as needed.
- Consistently support and demonstrate the company mission and values in all interactions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma is required.
- Intermediate to expert Excel skills, including file manipulation and creation.
- Strong, effective, and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-departmental and diverse teams to achieve results.
- Highly organized with the ability to be proactive, manage time, and prioritize work with minimal supervision.
- Willingness and ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, procedures, priorities, schedule, and job duties.
Nice to Have
- Experience in revenue cycle management or healthcare services.
- Familiarity with payment processing systems and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies.
