We are seeking a Senior DataOps Engineer remote to join our dynamic team in the United Arab Emirates. What You'll Do

• Architect and build CI/CD pipelines for complex data workloads using technologies like Spark, Delta Lake, and Airflow.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible to automate deployment processes.
• Enforce data contracts, perform schema validation, and conduct automated quality testing to maintain data integrity.
• Programmatically apply data masking, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and lineage tracking for sensitive datasets.
• Own observability, cost-monitoring, and incident response for tier-one data domains, ensuring high availability and performance.

Requirements

• 8+ years of engineering experience, with at least 2 years focused on DataOps or DevOps.
• Deep expertise in Databricks, Spark, dbt, and Azure Data Factory.
• Proficient in GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps, with strong skills in IaC.
• Solid Linux proficiency, including bash scripting and distributed computing.
• Experience with Change Data Capture (CDC) and a good understanding of data governance and metadata management.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and data integration tools.
• Experience in leading DataOps initiatives or teams.
