Lead AI Product Manager - Transforming Insurance with AI

About the Role

We are seeking a Lead AI Product Manager to join Zego, a pioneering company in the insurance sector. This remote position will allow you to shape the future of insurance by leveraging AI technology to enhance our product offerings. You will be instrumental in defining the strategic direction for our products over the next 6-12 months, ensuring that we meet our ambitious commercial targets.

What You'll Do

• Set strategic direction: Define the strategy for the 6-12 month horizon and shape product operating models.
• Define new product mechanics and revenue models: Identify and validate new revenue opportunities.
• Architect an experiment-led culture: Embed rigorous experimentation into your teams' workflows.
• Champion AI adoption across Product: Develop reusable AI playbooks and workflows to enhance team productivity.
• Lead with data at every level: Design product metrics and dashboards that inform strategic decisions.
• Drive company-level initiatives with P&L impact: Own programs that influence core business metrics.
• Lead cross-functional workstreams: Collaborate with engineering, data science, design, and marketing teams.
• Mentor and develop PMs: Coach Product Managers and instill a customer-first mindset.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading product strategy in a high-growth environment.
• Hands-on experience designing rigorous experiments and rapid prototypes.
• Deep understanding of unit economics and revenue modeling.
• Experience building AI-enabled workflows that enhance team efficiency.
• Proficient in gathering and using data for strategic decision-making.
• Comfortable engaging with engineers on technical matters.
• Outstanding communication skills to influence stakeholders.
• Proven track record of mentoring and developing Product Managers.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Familiarity with tools like Snowflake, Amplitude, and Figma.
