About the Role

We are looking for a Key Account Specialist to join our dynamic team at Kennametal. As a Key Account Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities and developing long-term partnerships with clients.

What You'll Do

• Independently acquire and develop new customers, driving growth in your designated region.
• Conduct technical and commercial consultations in close collaboration with customer service, product management, and application engineering.
• Manage the entire sales process from proposal creation to contract negotiations and closures.
• Represent the company at trade shows, symposiums, and customer presentations.
• Continuously monitor market trends and contribute innovative ideas for further development.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in a metalworking profession with further education as a master craftsman or technician in mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of professional experience and knowledge in subtractive metal processing, ideally in the medical technology or small parts sector.
• Proven sales experience in the B2B sector is required.
• Proficient in MS Office products and CRM systems.
• English language skills are advantageous.
• Willingness to travel predominantly within the daily commuting area.
